Job summary

CGP Search partners with a growing industrial services organization to identify an Accountant / Senior Accountant for a newly created role in Tampa, Florida. This position offers ownership of accounting processes and visibility across the business.

Responsibilities include day-to-day accounting operations, billing, month-end close support, budgeting and financial analysis, and collaboration with operations on reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in construction, industrial services, manufacturing, or project-based industries is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, billing, and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for a business unit.
• Own the end-to-end billing and invoicing process.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support month-end close.
• Partner with operations and project teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Monitor accounts receivable and support collections activities.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen accounting controls.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
