Job summary

Archer Lewis Services is seeking an Accounting professional to join our Silverdale, WA team. This role involves maintaining general ledgers, preparing journal entries, and assisting with tax return preparation. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Salary Range: $24.00 - $28.00 Hourly.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain general ledger and assist with month-end and year-end close
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Assist with preparation of individual and business tax returns
• Support quarterly filings and compliance work
• Assist with payroll processing and related reporting
• Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve issues
• Support senior team members on engagements and projects

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting and/or tax experience
• CPA not required; progress toward CPA is a plus
• Foundational understanding of accounting and tax principles
• Exposure to payroll and/or quarterly filings is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
