Job summary

Parker Mooers & Cena, now part of Archer Lewis, seeks a developing accountant to build a strong technical foundation across tax, accounting, and client service in Silverdale, WA. You’ll work with senior staff on real deliverables and gradually take on more responsibility.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, eager learning, and a hands-on approach within a collaborative team focused on client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting and/or tax experience.
• CPA not required; progress toward CPA is a plus.
• Exposure to payroll and/or quarterly filings is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and assist with month-end and year-end close.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Assist with preparation of individual and business tax returns.
• Support quarterly filings and compliance work.
• Assist with payroll processing and related reporting.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve issues.
• Support senior team members on engagements and projects.
