Job summary

Adecco is assisting a local employer in Erie, PA to hire an Accountant. This role will perform month-end closings, prepare journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements, and support intercompany transactions.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, GAAP knowledge and ERP systems experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, paid time off, and commuter benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Good understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Experience working with ERP systems and strong analytical/computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing activities and ensure financial reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Manage intercompany transactions, cash receipts, and support accounts receivable processes.
• Assist with inventory, fixed assets, capital spending reports, and process improvement initiatives.
