The Staff Accountant helps ensure accurate financial records across multiple accounting systems are maintained thereby providing for complete and accurate accounting for all transactions. The Staff Accountant’s responsibilities include developing and performing detailed reconciliations for new Banking as a Service (BaaS) programs, including BIN Sponsorship, Payment Processing, and Strategic Partner lending initiatives. The Staff Accountant will support the implementation of new BaaS programs, assist in equipment lease reconciliations, and work to improve reconciliations for strategic programs. The Staff Accountant will also identify and implement improvements to existing processes. Success in this position requires an understanding of basic accounting principles, the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal departments and external partners, fostering cross-functional teamwork and supporting the organization’s strategic objectives.
