Insight Global is seeking an Accountant II to join the Project Finance team. The role focuses on project accounting, fixed assets, month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and audit support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with fixed assets, project accounting, capital expenditures or construction accounting is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Blackline, or similar financial systems is a plus.
• CPA or CMA is a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite tools.
• Must be willing to work in a team oriented and dynamic environment.
• Must be able to work independently and approach new challenges with innovative methods.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Journal Entries and Financial Reporting- Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
• Account Reconciliations & Analysis- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and project-level transactions.
• Accounting Research & Issue Resolution- Research and resolve complex discrepancies.
• Fixed Asset & Project Accounting- Maintain fixed asset, inventory, and project accounting records.
• Process Improvement & Documentation- Identify opportunities to simplify and automate processes.
