This role collaborates with multiple departments and external partners to ensure compliance with budgets, audits, and reporting requirements. Key duties include assisting with annual budgets, preparing monthly billings and contract billing, month-end statements, reconciliations, and various forecasting and cost allocations.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of nonprofit accounting, revenue recognition, cost allocations, audit requirements, and indirect costs.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Managing one's own time and the time of others.
• Detail oriented and analytical.

Responsibilities

• Assists Accounting Manager with preparation of annual budgets for cost centers and other funds.
• Prepares and reviews monthly billings for contracts.
• Prepares and maintains electronic files for all contract billing.
• Responsible for monthly accounting for EDEN owned properties, including preparation of month-end financial statements.
• Prepares and reviews with Accounting Manager monthly financial reports and forecasting schedules.
