Job summary

Inceed is partnering with a client to hire an Accountant II in Tulsa, OK. This role focuses on hands-on general ledger work, month-end close, and supporting multiple entities, with a strong team environment and competitive benefits.

The successful candidate will perform journal entries, GL reconciliation, and support accounts payable/receivable, while contributing to accurate financial reporting and internal controls. Inceed outlines a comprehensive benefits package and paths for growth.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or comparable experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas.
• High attention to detail and strong organization.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Professional communication and customer service approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger activity.
• Support daily and monthly transaction balancing.
• Maintain trial balances across multiple entities.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Handle cash activity, receipts, and payment discrepancies.
• Support accounts receivable, collections, and customer credit approvals.
• Process accounts payable checks, wires, and ACH payments.
• Maintain records, filing, and secure document storage.
• Assist with sales tax, inventory accounting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on accounting matters.

Compensation: $ 70000-75000 annually, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger activity
• Support daily and monthly transaction balancing
• Maintain trial balances across multiple entities
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Handle cash activity, receipts, and payment discrepancies
• Support accounts receivable, collections, and customer credit approvals
• Process accounts payable checks, wires, and ACH payments
