LSG Sky Chefs is seeking an Accountant II to support financial reporting, accounting operations, and month-end close. This entry-level position emphasizes accuracy of financial data, intercompany accounting, and collaboration with business leaders across the Irving site.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and have 1+ years of accounting experience or 3-5 years progressive accounting experience. On-site work with some remote flexibility is available.

Responsabilidades

• Perform financial accounting, analysis, and reporting activities.

• Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions across legal entities and our kitchen facilities.
• Analyze, reconcile, and forecast balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and review month-end journal entries and adjustments.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Document processes, identify improvements, and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

Position Overview

TheAccountant plays a key role in supporting the organization’s financial reporting, accounting operations, and month-end close processes. This entry-levelposition is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data through account reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting. The role partners closely with business leaders and finance teams to provide meaningful financial insights, support budgeting and forecasting activities, assist with audit requirements, and drive process improvements.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and analytical accounting professional with a strong understanding of GAAP, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Work type: Onsite Monday-Thursday, remote on Friday

What You'll Do

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

Requires 1+ years of accounting experience with a Big Four firm or 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong GL, reconciliation, analytical, communication, and documentation skills
• Strong knowledge of GAAP required; IFRS knowledge preferred
• Intercompany reconciliation experience preferred
• Proficiency with accounting systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• SAP experience preferred
• CPA preferred
