Job summary

Qualifications

What You'll Actually Do

• General Ledger Management: Manage multiple general ledger accounts, including accruals, and general closing activities.
• Financial Close Support: Prepare month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and support accurate financial close processes.
• SOX Audit Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments globally to obtain and review supporting documents and processes for Sox audits.
• Process Improvement: Identify, recommend, and actively participate in business process improvement opportunities.

The Must-Haves

• Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related business field, or a Master's degree in the field.
• Experience: 2+ years of general accounting experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 0-2 years of experience with a Master's degree.
• Skills: Demonstrated working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, including documentation, testing, and evaluation of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR); ability to work independently with appropriate guidance; capability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and meet established project deadlines.
• Bonus: General Ledger and/or public accounting experience from a Big4 or mid-tier firm; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license; working experience with accounting using Oracle and MS Office.
