Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in Brea, CA is seeking an Accounting Analyst II – Global Consolidations & North America Accounting to support month-end close and consolidations.

You will manage general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, and coordinate with global teams for SOX ICFR audits, while identifying opportunities for process improvements. A bachelor’s in accounting with 2+ years or a master’s with 0–2 years is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related business field with 2+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 0‑2 years of experience.
• General accounting experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) requirements, including ICFR documentation, testing, and evaluation.
• Ability to work independently with appropriate guidance, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple general ledger accounts, including accruals and closing activities.
• Prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations, supporting accurate financial close processes.
• Collaborate with global departments to obtain and review documents for SOX audits.
• Identify and participate in business process improvement opportunities.
