What You'll Actually Do
- Reconciliation: Reconcile production, inventory, sales, transfers, and customer account activity to ensure data accuracy across SAP and other business systems.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Research and resolve discrepancies related to production, inventory, billing, invoices, receivables, credits, deductions, and write-offs.
- Transaction Processing: Process credits, debits, re-bills, deposits, and product returns while maintaining proper documentation for accounting transactions.
- Data Analysis: Enter, validate, and analyze daily production and operational data, including production, kill, and head count reporting.
- Compliance Support: Assist with reporting, month-end activities, audits, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements.
The Must-Haves
- Background: Early-Level. High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's Degree preferred. Foundational knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and practices.
- Experience: 1-2 years clerical accounting experience preferred. Familiarity with modern office practices, procedures, methods, and equipment.
- Skills: Effective oral and written communication, ability to examine and verify financial documents and reports, proficiency in preparing various reports and analyses.
- Bonus: Knowledge of SAP or a comparable ERP system, proficiency in Excel and Microsoft applications.
