Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking an Accountant, General Accounting in Little Rock, Arkansas. You will manage end-to-end fixed asset activities, SIP calculations, and month-end close while collaborating with site managers and corporate reporting teams. Some travel is expected.

Ideal candidate has 1–2 years of general accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with ERP systems like Sage, SAP, or Oracle. This role requires attention to detail and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of progressive general ledger and general accounting experience in a mid-to-large corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fixed asset accounting and asset activity tracking.
• Coordinate monthly asset activity with site managers and update Sage records.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for fixed assets and review AP invoices for capitalization.
• Maintain compliance with Fixed Asset policies.
• Manage SIP calculations and Day 1 journal entries.
• Coordinate asset setup in ERP systems (Sage) after project completion.
• Support month-end close, generate reports, and provide balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with quarterly PPE roll-forwards and financial inquiries.
• Coordinate with external auditors and cross-functional teams.
