Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant I - Project Billing Specialist to join our full remote team. In this role, you'll play a key part in managing project setup, financial budgets, and client invoicing. This position requires strong accounting and billing expertise, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with project managers to review contracts and set up projects and budgets.




  • Prepare client invoices (Cost Plus, Time & Materials, and Fixed Price), ensuring alignment with contract terms and including necessary supporting documentation.




  • Assist the Regional Accounting Manager with month-end closing processes.




  • Maintain accurate records and files to support audits and future reference needs.




  • Support the finance team with other related tasks as required.





Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience




  • 3+ years of professional accounting experience.




  • Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting and Billing processes.




  • High attention to detail and accuracy without sacrificing efficiency.




  • Effective communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal).




  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.




  • Analytical thinker with sound judgment and problem-solving skills.




  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.




  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.




  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Teams).




  • Familiarity with Adobe software is a plus.

Pay Range
$65,000$72,000 USD

The EA pay range for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation or salary.
