Job summary

Primetals Technologies USA, LLC in Axis, Alabama is seeking an Accountant to support SAP-based accounts payable, job costing and month-end close processes. The role reports to the Accounting Manager and requires collaboration across manufacturing finance teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, up to 2 years of financial experience, and strong communication and analytical skills. SAP experience is preferred, and the company offers day-one benefits.

• Familiar with accounting processes, preferably in manufacturing.
• Up to 2 years of financial experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work on many different projects at one time.
• Excellent Microsoft Office experience.
• SAP, preferred.

Responsibilities

• New job setup in SAP and job folder setup.
• Assisting with Accounts Payable in SAP.
• Administer contract billing in SAP.
• Assist in the month-end close process.
• Assist the Accounting Manager in creating timely and accurate financial statements.
• Understand job costing reports from SAP.
• UKG(Kronos) Bi-Weekly Hourly Timesheet Review.
• Other administrative and accounting projects, as needed.

We are looking to hire an Accountant at our Axis, Alabama facility. This position will report to the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

• New job setup in SAP and job folder setup
