Job summary

Primetals Technologies USA, LLC is seeking an Accountant at our Axis, Alabama facility. This position reports to the Accounting Manager and involves setup in SAP, accounts payable, contract billing, and month-end close processes.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, up to 2 years of financial experience, and strong communication and analytical skills. SAP experience is preferred in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• Familiar with Accounting processes, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Up to 2 years of financial experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work on many different projects at one time.
• SAP, preferred.

Responsibilities

• New job setup in SAP and job folder setup.
• Assisting with Accounts Payable in SAP.
• Administer contract billing in SAP.
• Assist in the month-end close process.
• Assist the Accounting Manager in creating timely and accurate financial statements.
• Understand job costing reports from SAP.
• UKG(Kronos) Bi-Weekly Hourly Timesheet Review.
• Other administrative and accounting projects, as needed.
