Job summary

Merit Medical Systems, Inc. in the United States seeks an Accounting Associate to handle monthly invoice payments, approve expense reports, and assist in closing financial records. The role also processes sales tax returns and prepares month-end balancing reports.

You will collaborate with colleagues to complete projects, maintain accuracy, and support various accounting tasks. A Bachelor’s in Accounting and 1 year of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalency.
• A minimum of one year of responsible accounting experience.
• Broad knowledge of accounting and financial control principles and their business applications.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in performing accounting tasks.
• Demonstrated human relations and effective written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
• Demonstrated computer skills, preferably spreadsheet, word processing database, and other applicable software programs.
