Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a finance/accounting professional for a 1-year contract with potential extension or conversion to full-time based on performance and budget. The role begins onsite for the first month or two at the client location, then transitions to fully remote work, preferably for someone within an hour's drive of Sacramento, California.

Hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with some flexibility. The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills, experience with SAP Financial Modules, and solid

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Finance or Accounting and strong Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP modules (FI/CO) across multiple implementations.
• CPA certification or equivalent utility-industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contract is 1 year with potential extension or conversion to FTE based on performance and budget.
• Location starts onsite at client for 1 month to month-and-a-half, then fully remote; local candidates preferred within an hour.
• Hours are 8 AM - 5 PM with flexibility.

Job Responsibilities:

1 year contract with the possibility of being extended an additional year OR converting FTE based on performance/budget at that time.Location: The first month- month and a half will be onsite at the client location, then will be fully remote unless there is a scheduled onsite training or meeting.Preference is for someone local to the area or within an hour, not out of state.Hours are 8 AM - 5 PM but flexible
