Job summary

Exemplis in California is seeking an Accountant I to record and report financial transactions, prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and analyze balances. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel.
• Understanding of GAAP.
• Time management and attention to detail.
• Quickly grasp new concepts and processes.
• 1+ years of experience in public accounting, manufacturing or e-commerce.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamic D365 and/or AX.
• CPA certification.
• Proficient in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare general journal entries and ensure all transactions are posted in an accurate and timely manner.
• Prepare intercompany journal entries between two companies.
• Support month-end close process, including variance and trend analysis.
• Identify and resolve variances in account reconciliations.
• Prepare cash reports and reconcile daily banking activity and bank accounts.
• Prepare bank wires or ACH payments as needed
• Assist with preparation of audit schedules and all other requirements for external auditors, including financial, tax, and physical inventory audits.
• Perform special projects as needed.

Salary Range: $65,040.00 - $97,561.00

Position Summary:

Are you looking to chart your accounting career? We’re seeking an Accountant I to record and report financial transactions, prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, and perform detailed analysis of balances and transactions. You’ll have the opportunity to build a strong accounting foundation in a high‑paced, build‑to‑order manufacturing environment. We welcome recent college graduates who are eager to learn, develop their skills, and launch their careers in a fast‑paced, hands‑on accounting role. Qualified candidates requiring work authorization sponsorship are encouraged to apply, as sponsorship may be available.

This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

• Prepare general journal entries and ensure all transactions are posted in an accurate and timely manner.
