Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close duties and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Process daily transfers and balance hospital and clinic bank accounts.
• Reconcile and balance QIPP payments tracked by nursing homes; ensure proper payments from state/insurer.
• Research transfers older than one month and coordinate with nursing homes/clinics for timely execution.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities.
• Assist or complete various reports and analyses as directed by Controller/CFO.

Cuero Regional Hospital is searching for a FT Accountant in our Finance Department.

• The Accountant is responsible for assigned month end close duties, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Performs daily transfers and balances for QIPP Nursing Homes, Hospital and Clinic bank accounts
• Reconciles and balances QIPP payments are tracked by nursing home and ensure correct amount is paid according to payments made by the state and/or insurance carrier
• Research transfers with dates greater than one month and keeps in close contact with the nursing homes and clinics to ensure transfers are performed timely
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities
• Other duties will include assisting or completing various reports and analysis as assigned by the Controller and/or CFO.
