Job summary

Clampco, a leading manufacturer, is seeking an Accountant to support daily accounting operations and financial reporting at our Wadsworth, OH facility. You will work closely with the Controller to ensure accurate records and timely close processes, while supporting ERP system use and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of accounting experience, a solid understanding of GAAP, and exposure to month-end activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 1–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accounting records and financial reports.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls and GAAP compliance.
• Maintain chart of accounts and general ledger structure.
• Execute journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Support Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable functions.
