Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting/financial management experience preferred.
• Experience with AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and reporting.
• Proficiency with Excel and general ledger software.
• Knowledge of sales tax, payroll tax filings, and 1099 reporting.
• Transportation industry accounting experience (IFTA/2290) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile accounts.
• Generate monthly financial statements and reports.
• Coordinate tax-related activities and regulatory filings.
• Support audits and internal controls in collaboration with external accountants.
