Job summary

CommuniCare Health Services, an established family-owned post-acute care provider, seeks an Accountant / Financial Analyst in Blue Ash, OH. The role supports financial leadership, provides data for reimbursement analyses, and develops dashboards and scorecards.

You will work with the Reimbursement Department on data compilation, reporting, and ad hoc analyses, including monthly financial statement reviews and regional improvement suggestions. A collaborative, ethical professional is required.

Qualifications

• Understanding GAAP and applying it to accounting tasks.
• Ability to manage highly detailed tasks with others in a team.
• High ethics, integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data.
• ERP experience preferred, especially Workday or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports for Rate Analysis.

Due to continued growth, CommuniCare Health Services is currently recruiting for an Accountant / Financial Analyst.

PURPOSE/BELIEF STATEMENT

The Accountant / Financial Analyst position is primarily responsible for accounting/analytical needs for Communicare’s Financial Leadership.

The Accountant / Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Reimbursement Department in compiling data, reporting, preparing work papers and completing analysis.

This includes ad hoc reporting using a variety of source systems, creation and maintenance of scorecards and dashboards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years of accounting experience including cost accounting
• KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Understanding applicability of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Ability to manage highly detailed tasks with and through other staff Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
• A positive attitude, with a high degree of ethics and personal integrity, as well as confidentiality, are traits needed to be successful in this role.
• ERP experience highly preferred (Workday or Oracle)

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with preparation of reports necessary for Rate Analysis.

• Assist in assembling underlying support for the Supplemental Payments from States
• Update models and trackers with most current information
