Job summary

Tarek Nour Events is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant/Financial Analyst to join our finance team in New York. You will maintain accurate financial records, analyze performance, and support reporting, planning, and decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, month- and year-end closings, and building budgets and forecasts. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with spreadsheet-based tools and ERP systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, or reporting.
• Understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and budgeting.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, professional integrity, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• A relevant qualification, such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA, is an advantage.
