Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. in Atlanta, GA seeks a professional to manage end-to-end general ledger processes, prepare monthly journal entries, and reconcile balance sheets. You will liaison between corporate HQ and field operations, collaborating on budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.

You will support internal controls, assist with audits, and contribute to special projects such as accounting research and integration of newly acquired facilities. Strong Excel/ERP skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
• Experience with major ERP systems required.

Responsibilities

• Execute general ledger accounting processes from end-to-end, including preparation of monthly journal entries.
• Conduct reviews and reconciliations of monthly balance sheet accounts, focusing on cash reconciliations.
• Serve as liaison between corporate headquarters and field sites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to develop budgets and forecasts and perform variance analyses.
• Analyze financial data and perform problem-solving related to assigned accounts.
• Execute internal controls and support auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit.
• Assist with special projects such as accounting research and integration of newly acquired facilities.
• Other essential duties as assigned.
