WhatYou’llDo
- Own general ledger functions, including account reconciliations, journalentriesand financial statement preparation
- Review and analyze account balances toidentifyanomalies and ensure accuracy
- Manage the reconciliation and accuracy of all account balances
- Prepare and analyze monthly,quarterlyand annual financial reports
- Ensure financial reportingcomplies withcompany policies and accounting standards
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
Analysis, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assistwith budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights to support business decisions
- Monitor financial trends andidentifyopportunities for improvement
- Support strategic planning throughaccuratefinancial analysis and reporting
Cash Management & Fixed Assets
- Oversee cash management processes,reconciliationsand reporting
- Analyze variances and ensure accuracy of cash-related transactions
- Maintain and track fixed assets, including depreciation, insurance,licensingand reporting
Audits, Compliance & Controls
- Conduct internal audits and recommend process improvements
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies
- Support tax reporting and regulatory compliance activities
Process Improvement & Technology
- Lead financial software projects and system enhancements
- Identifyand implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency
- Develop andmaintainaccounting procedures,documentationand training materials
- Collaborate with departments across the organization to streamline accounting processes
Leadership & Team Support
- Serve as a key contact for accounting-related questions and issues
- Mentor and support accounting team members
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Advancedproficiencywith accounting systems and financial reporting tools
- Working knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles
- Experience preparing financial statements, performingreconciliationsand analyzing financial data
- Experience supporting audits and process improvement initiatives
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountingor a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
