Job summary

Mai Placement is seeking an Account Lead to own client relationships from onboarding through ongoing management. This hands-on role requires strong accounting knowledge, offshore team coordination, and a focus on accuracy and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of accounting or client-facing financial services experience.
• Experience managing client relationships and overseeing accounting or AP workflows.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to delegate work, review deliverables, and manage offshore or remote teams.
• Experience within an outsourced accounting or advisory firm is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.

• Manage project timelines, priorities, and client deliverables through project management systems.
• Monitor offshore team capacity and optimize workload distribution.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service.
• Drive continuous process improvements through technology, automation, and best practices.
