Job summary

Bazaarvoice in Vilnius is seeking an accounting professional to join the finance team, focusing on general ledger accounting and US GAAP compliance.

You will analyze and reconcile accounts, coordinate with the FP&A team in Austin, and handle hedge accounting and intercompany entries while maintaining strict internal controls and timely monthly closes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience (including month end close, booking journal entries, performing reconciliations, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas, etc.).
• Excellent language skills in written and spoken English.
• Experience in NetSuite or similar accounting system is desired.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Work directly with the corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team located in Austin, Texas to ensure proper accrual of vendor liabilities and that amounts accrued are properly supported.
• Calculation and recording of balance sheet hedge accounting.
• Calculation of transfer pricing journal entries and reconciliation of all intercompany accounts.
• Ensure proper accounting for payroll activities.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure proper supporting documentation is retained.
• Ensure compliance with the company's key accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Maintain cross-departmental relationships with relative business stakeholders to ensure awareness of all accounting implications of business transactions.
• Adhere to monthly close deadlines and requirements.
• Research and analyze accounting fluctuations.
• Assist in various analysis, initiatives and ad hoc projects in support of financial reporting requirements.

Job Overview:

Based in Vilnius, the Bazaarvoice Finance organization is looking for an accounting professional to join the finance team.

This position will focus on key general ledger accounting and analysis in accordance with US GAAP.

Job Responsibilities:
