Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Our NY based womenswear luxury brand is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team with experience in the fashion industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage reconciling month end close and financial reporting
• Oversee journal entries on weekly and monthly basis
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank statements
• Direct daily activities of AP/AR and collections
• Manage sales tax reconciliation and compliance
• Assist the annual accounting review process
• Support with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Oversee inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS) reconciliation
• Generate ad hoc reports to support strategic decision-making

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Experience working in fashion industry
• Must be proficient in QuickBooks and ERP systems
• Able to work independently
• Self-motivated and able to collaborate with a team
• Extremely detail-oriented and able to multi-task
• Analytical with exceptional time-management skills
