Job summary

eCarsTrade is seeking an Accountant to support its growing European remarketing platform. You will handle booking of purchase and sales invoices, deposits, and credit notes, while ensuring timely payments and supplier follow-up.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, strong communication, and a proactive, accurate approach. Experience with inventory value at month-end is a major plus, and you will work in a collaborative, fast-paced SME environment focused on growth

eCarsTrade is an online remarketing platform for used cars. We primarily purchase cars from leasing companies and sell them to small and medium-sized car dealers across Europe. The company is experiencing very healthy growth, and to support this, we are looking for an Accountant.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for booking purchase and sales invoices, customer deposits, and credit notes;
• Preparingand following up on payments is part of your extensive range of duties;
• You are in contact with suppliersensuring efficient follow-up.
• You manage customer and supplier balances.
• You handle the booking of financial and payroll transactions.
• You provide support with ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks such as payroll, inventory, reporting, monthly closing, etc.
• You are able to independently optimize and automate accounting processes;
• Experience with calculating inventory valueat month-end closing is a major plus.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Accountancy or equivalent through previous work experience;
• You are socially oriented and have strong communication skills;
