Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Experience with GL accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Cost accounting knowledge in manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Payroll processing experience and familiarity with payroll systems.
  • Proficient in Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations: GL, AP, AR, cash management.
  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Process payroll and payroll reconciliations.
  • Support manufacturing cost accounting, inventory analysis.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash activity.
  • Assist with financial statement preparation and management reporting.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and optimize processes.
  • Support tax reporting, audits, and compliance activities.
  • Partner with leadership on special projects and provide financial insights.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team within the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial functions of the business while helping ensure accurate reporting, efficient processes, and sound financial controls. Responsibilities

As an Accountant, you will:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Process payroll and support payroll reconciliations while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Support manufacturing cost accounting activities, including inventory analysis and cost tracking.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash activity to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Assist with financial statement preparation, account analysis, and management reporting.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies.
  • Support tax reporting, audits, and other compliance-related activities as needed.
  • Partner with leadership on special projects and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
Qualifications
  • An Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or inventory-driven environment.
  • Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Working knowledge of cost accounting principles and manufacturing operations is highly preferred.
  • Experience processing payroll and familiarity with payroll systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience using accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
