Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in St. Louis, MO. The accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable processing, bank and account reconciliations, intercompany transactions and preparation of financial reports and statements. The role will support budgeting and forecasting, track case-related expenses, and assist with cost analysis to help the firm manage litigation-related financial risk. The accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and firm policies, coordinate with attorneys and administrative staff on matter-specific financial questions, assist with audits and tax preparation, and prepare 1099s. The position also involves maintaining the Company's case database, currently in ProLaw, and contributing to process efficiencies within the firm.
