Job summary

Medical Consulting Group in Springfield, MO is seeking an ambitious Mid-Level Accounting professional to perform the full accounting cycle including payables, receivables, and general ledger. The role supports the Controller, prepares monthly financials, and maintains meticulous records in a dependable, dedicated environment.

Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and familiarity with Outlook and Teams.

Qualifications

• Three to five years accounting experience.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Experience with payables, receivables and general ledger.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of accounting cycle - payables, receivables, and general ledger.
• Accounts payable entry and processing.
• Client invoicing, payment processing and bank register posting.
• Bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Support corporate Controller with additional tasks and reporting.
• Maintain records and documentation per retention policies.

The main duties/responsibilities for this Mid-Level position include:

• Perform all aspects of accounting cycle - payables, receivables, and general ledger
• Accounts payable entry and processing
• Client invoicing, payment processing and bank register posting
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly financial statements
• Support corporate Controller with additional tasks and reporting
• Maintain records and documentation in accordance with record retention policies
• Exemplary attendance and punctuality are required

Minimum Requirements include:

• Microsoft Word/Excel experience required
• Microsoft Outlook and Teams experience
• Three to five years accounting experience
