Ecolab seeks an accounting professional to join its Global Accounting & Control Team, reporting to the Global Accounting Supervisor in St. Paul, MN.

You will support day-to-day accounting and month-end close procedures, collaborating with Corporate and Divisional finance, and early in the close cycle across the organization to ensure timely financial results. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits and ad hoc analyses.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting and/or finance experience.

  • Analyze monthly financial results for the Ecolab North America entities
  • Prepare various journal entries during the monthly close process
  • Work closely with the Global Business Services (GBS) team during month-end close, and throughout the month, on various accounting procedures
  • Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts
  • Assist in the quarterly balance sheet fluctuation review of the Ecolab entities
  • Prepare documentation to support external and internal audits
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues, providing explanations and interpretation
  • Maintain and enhance department processes, procedures, and related documentation
  • Other ad hoc corporate accounting activities

Job description

Ecolab is seeking an Account. You would be a member of the Global Accounting & Control Team reporting to the Global Accounting Supervisor based in St. Paul, MN. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting and month-end close procedures. This position supports the accounting needs of Corporate and Divisional personnel and will interact with colleagues across Ecolab’s Finance organization and broader business functions. This position is required to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and requests from all areas and must maintain a strict close schedule to provide timely financial results.

What You Will Do
  • Support the Ecolab North America monthly general ledger close process in SAP
  • Analyze monthly financial results for the Ecolab North America entities
  • Prepare various journal entries during the monthly close process

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

Annual Or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $66,100.00 - $99,200.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
