Job Summary and Qualifications

We are currently recruiting for an Accountant to join our team! As our Accountant, you will perform activities concerned with general ledger and financial reporting. You will assist in the process of accurately stating the financial position of the hospital. We are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. What you will do in this role:

• Assist in the performance of the monthly general ledger closing process.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports for key indicators and statistics.
• Review and reconcile daily charge and batch reports.
• Reconcile assigned Balance Sheet accounts on a timely basis.
• Assist with fixed asset database maintenance and reconciliations.
• Assist with preparation of documentation for internal or external audit, tax work papers, and Cost Report.

What Qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Experience in healthcare accounting preferred.
• Strong computer experience, including Excel.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with individuals.
• Additional languages preferred.
