Ledgent, Inc. partners with a growing organization seeking a hands-on Accountant to oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger activities in Menlo Park, CA.

This Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire role offers a salary range of $90,000–$100,000 and opportunities for career growth. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, 5+ years of accounting experience including AP/AR/Payroll/GL, strong ADP payroll experience, and advanced Excel skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire

$90,000 - $100,000 + Career Growth Opportunity

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, reconciliations, vendor communications, and expense reports
• Oversee Accounts Receivable activities, including invoicing, payment tracking, collections, and aging analysis
• Process semi-monthly payroll using ADP while ensuring accuracy of deductions, benefits, taxes, and employee records
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and assist with month-end and year-end close
• Maintain accurate financial records and support reporting for leadership
• Assist with audits, compliance requirements, and documentation management
• Partner cross-functionally to improve processes and support business operations

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of accounting experience with exposure to AP, AR, Payroll, and General Ledger accounting
• Strong payroll experience utilizing ADP (required)
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas
• Experience preparing journal entries and supporting month-end close
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating with various teams

• Exposure to NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP systems
