Job summary

Ledgent, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant for a Santa Monica based investment management firm. This collaborative accounting team offers growth in a sophisticated financial environment with exposure to multiple entities and investment operations.

Ideal candidates have 1-2+ years of accounting experience, a degree in accounting, and strong reconciliation skills; Sage Intacct/QuickBooks/Concur is a plus. You will handle journal entries, month-end close, reconciliations, AP, and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 1-2+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and reconciliations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or Concur is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day accounting transactions and journal entries
• Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
• Support accounts payable, bill pay, and employee expense reimbursements
• Maintain accurate accounting records across multiple entities
• Research and resolve transaction discrepancies
• Partner with team members on process improvements and special projects
• Assist with the ongoing implementation and utilization of Sage Intacct
