Job summary

U-Haul International is seeking a Staff Accountant to advance in responsibility within a growing organization. You will perform month-end close, prepare GAAP journal entries, and reconcile balance sheets while analyzing trends and documenting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in public accounting preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication, good listening skills, and excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work well under pressure.
• Ability to balance time during busy quarterly/annual reporting season.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.
• Knowledge and experience with SAP (general ledger) are a plus.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Complete routine month-end close procedures within prescribed timeframes in a timely and accurate manner.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
