Who You Are

• You are a highly detail-oriented and proactive accounting professional with a strong foundation in tax compliance, financial reporting, and entity management
• You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and are comfortable taking ownership of complex, multi-layered responsibilities
• You bring a CPA designation or equivalent experience

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review all property-level tax returns, investor K-1s, and corporate tax filings
• Oversee individual tax filings for company owners and manage special depreciation allocations
• Handle state and local compliance, including sales tax, payroll tax, and workers’ compensation filings
• Manage entity lifecycle tasks such as new formations, annual filings, Blue Sky compliance, and bank account setups
• Support internal audits, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with investor and HR-related tax inquiries

What Success Looks Like

• All tax filings and compliance obligations are completed accurately and on time across multiple jurisdictions
• Entity structures and investor documentation are meticulously maintained
• Leadership is supported with reliable financial data, enabling a shift toward strategic initiatives
• Investor inquiries related to tax and entity matters are handled promptly and professionally
• Internal audits and monthly financial reviews are conducted with precision and accuracy

Salary Range: $100-125k annually, based on experience
