Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME seeks an Accountant to maintain the journal entries log, prepare the majority of GL entries, and monitor balance sheet accounts.

You will calculate and reconcile depreciation, perform monthly bank reconciliations, and assemble year-end work papers for audits.

Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance required, 3–5 years hospital accounting experience preferred; CPA preferred; Windows-based PC proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• Three to Five (3-5) years hospital/healthcare accounting/finance experience preferred.
• Proficient in business software applications.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based personal computers.
• Current CPA Preferred.
