Talentify is seeking an Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and oversee daily accounting activities in a full-time, on-site role in Tennessee. The position focuses on month-end close, GL maintenance, reconciliations, and reporting while enabling growth into quoting, invoicing, and job costing as the business expands.

The role requires 2+ years in accounting, proficiency with ERP systems and QuickBooks, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or staff accountant roles.
• Experience supporting month-end close processes and account reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of general ledger accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas.

• Knowledge in month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entry work in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Tennessee within a machine shop and hydraulic repair facility that includes an attached office. The company has approximately 25 employees and has grown steadily over the past five years, offering a close-knit, family-style atmosphere where team members collaborate across office and shop operations. The environment is hands-on and fast-paced, with exposure to manufacturing and repair activities, supported by accounting and ERP technologies such as QuickBooks, JobBOSS, ECI systems, and Microsoft Excel. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Vergne, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.06/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
