Job summary

Center Street Lending in Irvine, CA seeks a detail-oriented accounting professional with 3+ years of general accounting experience. Responsibilities include full-cycle accounting, AP/AR, financial reporting, month-end close, audits support, and process improvements.

A BS/BA in Accounting or Finance is required; GAAP knowledge and strong Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) are essential. Loan Vision experience is a plus; this hourly role offers a collaborative culture at a fast-growing real estate

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

3+ years of general accounting required

• Full-cycle accounting experience required
• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Prepare and analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns
• Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close processes

Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables.

Loan Vision experience preferred.

Experience: 2+ plus years in real estate or mortgage industry preferred
