Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 0-2 years accounting experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Internship or previous experience with AP, AR, bookkeeping, or general accounting is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Comfortable working with numbers and financial information.
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to ask questions.
• Team-oriented and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable, including processing invoices, coding expenses, obtaining approvals, and preparing payments.
• Support Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, payment application, account reconciliation, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Assist with bank, credit card, vendor, and customer account reconciliations.
• Help with monthly close and other general accounting activities.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Assist with accounting activities related to new entities as the company expands.
• Help identify ways to make accounting processes more efficient and effective.
• Work closely with other accounting and operations teams.
• Assist with special projects and other accounting initiatives as the business grows.
• Take on additional responsibilities over time as skills develop.

A growing company in High Point, NC is looking to add an Entry-Level Accountant to its expanding accounting team.
