Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Advise and provide service to clients in an Accountant capacity using independent discretion and judgment, or as directed by Ravix management
- Evaluate client needs on an ongoing basis through discussions with client management and keep other Ravix Group team members informed of all client requests and updates.
- Provide accounting services to meet client requirements for (cash, GAAP or other) financials, payroll, A/P, A/R, sales/use tax, unsecured property tax, balance sheet reconciliations, assist with month end close, etc.
- Prepare, examine, or analyze client accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Report to client management regarding the finances and cash flow of establishment
- Establish client’s tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts
- Develop, implement, modify, and document client recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology
- Prepare periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
- Assist with client’s tax & audit preparation.
- Appraise, evaluate, tag and inventory client’s real property and equipment, recording information such as the description, value and location of property.
- Provide quality client service and maintain a minimum 100% realization.
- Participate in interview/sales calls with clients as requested
- Be aware of client collections status
- Attend and actively participate in Company and Controller group meetings
- Attend Ravix Internal training meetings as requested
- Assist with internal Ravix projects as requested

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Education: College Degree with some college accounting courses, or equivalent work experience
- Experience: 4 to 6 years related experience.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel and Word. ADP and/or other payroll & accounting systems and PowerPoint a plus.
- Other Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must be able to provide appropriate transportation to travel to multiple client sites, and possess a laptop and cell phone that can be used daily for work.
