Job summary

Imaging Associates, LLC seeks a Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in a hybrid role serving the West Coast region. You will handle monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and related accounting functions with emphasis on accuracy and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting, 10+ years of experience, strong GAAP, Excel, and QuickBooks Desktop proficiency, plus comfort with remote work and occasional in-person meetings with leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive accounting experience (public or industry).
• 10+ years successful remote work experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and Excel skills.
• QuickBooks Desktop experience required.
• Healthcare or multi-location experience a plus.
• Self-directed remote worker able to meet close deadlines.
• Willingness to learn AI project and tool creation.
• Reliable camera and willingness to attend meetings on camera.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex journal entries and accruals (salary, PTO, prepaid, property tax, ROU, etc.).
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Support monthly close and coordination with the billing company.
• Assist with QuickBooks Desktop IIF imports and class/GL coding.
• Support audit schedules and internal controls.
• Identify process improvements.
• Prepare Board documentation packets.
• Attend meetings on camera.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.

The Staff Accountant supports the Accounting team with accurate and timely financial processing, monthly close activities, reconciliations, and related accounting functions. This is a Hybrid role requiring residence in Alaska or the West Coast area to enable regular in-person meetings with the Director of Accounting & Finance. Periodic travel to Anchorage may be required.
