Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with financial data.
• Experience assisting with audits and/or year-end close preferred.
• Municipal, governmental, or public-sector accounting experience is a plus.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and general ledger analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist with year-end audit preparation and respond to audit-related requests.
• Prepare and complete bank and general ledger reconciliations.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies.
• Prepare and review journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Assist with general ledger maintenance and account analysis.
• Review financial data for accuracy and completeness.
• Compile schedules and reports for year-end activities.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support the Finance/Accounting team with additional accounting projects as needed.

This position will provide additional support to the accounting and finance team, with a primary focus on year-end audit preparation, reconciliations, and general accounting activities. Responsibilities:

• Assist with year-end audit preparation and respond to audit-related requests
• Prepare and complete bank and general ledger account reconciliations
• Research and resolve account discrepancies
• Prepare and review journal entries and supporting documentation

• Review financial data for accuracy and completeness
