Job summary

System One, Inc. in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking an experienced Accountant for an onsite, direct-hire role. The position offers a salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 with standard hours and M-F 8AM-5PM.

The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years in manufacturing accounting, strong US GAAP knowledge, and SAP Business One experience. Responsibilities include AP/AR, general ledger, journal entries, month-end closes, and budgeting contributions, plus tax returns and audits support.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing or similar environment
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles
• SAP Business One experience preferred (SQL and Crystal Reports a plus)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Payroll experience with ADP
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an accounting major preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and integrity of accounting information
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cost accounting, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and monthly financial statements
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close on schedule
• Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable regulations
• Keep and analyze accounting records and reports; review financial statements for discrepancies and irregularities
• Reconcile bank statements and produce cash flow reports
• Support audits (internal and external) by building audit schedules and answering auditor inquiries
• Prepare and file sales/use, property, and corporate income tax returns as required
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting
• Perform ad hoc accounting and finance analysis and special projects
• Enter project labor into SAP
• Take part in process improvement efforts and system implementations
