The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and solid US GAAP knowledge. Public accounting experience is valued, with advanced Excel skills and CPA progress encouraged.

Qualifications

• Public accounting (Audit or Assurance) experience is welcomed.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
• CPA or progress toward CPA is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
• Support month-end close activities and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Perform analytical reviews and prepare supporting schedules and documentation.
• Assist with cash management and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
• Support intercompany accounting, accruals, debt, tax and other general functions.
• Partner with the team on special projects and ad hoc initiatives.

Compensation: Up to $90k DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations across a variety of balance sheet accounts
• Support month-end close activities and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
• Perform analytical reviews and prepare supporting schedules and documentation
• Assist with cash management and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies
• Support intercompany accounting, accruals, debt, interest expense, tax, and other general accounting functions
• Partner with the accounting team on special projects and ad hoc initiatives
