Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, you'll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting, supporting month-end close activities, analyzing financial performance, and contributing to strategic initiatives across the organization.

Title: Staff – Senior Accountant (depending on experience
Location: Westport, CT
Potential Compensation: $70,000 to $90,000
Responsibilties:
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Perform financial analysis and variance reporting to support business decisions
- Participate in monthly financial reviews and provide insights into operational performance
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Assist with tax compliance, reporting requirements, and audit requests
- Help maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience for Staff level; additional experience preferred for Senior level consideration
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- CPA, MBA, or other professional certifications are a plus
- Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, Python, Vena, or similar reporting and automation tools is highly desirable
