Job summary

CFS, an established leader in its field, is seeking an Accountant to join our Kern County team. This full-time, onsite role supports day-to-day financial operations with exposure to AP, AR, billing, and reconciliations in a professional setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with AP, AR, billing and reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and processes.
• Proficient with accounting software and Excel.
• Ability to maintain accurate financial records and resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable (AP) processing and related transactions.
• Support accounts receivable (AR) and payment activity.
• Prepare and process client/customer billing.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations and research discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with additional accounting activities as needed.
